When Kean wakes up naked, collared and locked in a cell, he knows thinking with his dick has finally gotten him into trouble. Part Incubus, Kean enjoys scorching sexual liaisons, a habit that has found him trapped, forced to help a Sempire rescue her daughter from certain death.

Unwilling to aid in anyone’s imprisonment, Araya initially refuses her mother’s “gift”, but the passion simmering between her and Kean is undeniable. As they explore their shared lust, both Araya and Kean enact schemes to save each other. Their best laid plans may awaken emotions that will bind them forever.

“My daughter is resting in here. You’ll stay with her until she gets what she needs.”

This bitch must be crazy. Chained or not, he’d have his get out of jail free card as soon as they left him alone with the daughter. As soon as he got his hands on her, he’d strangle her to unconsciousness and then offer Talith her daughter’s life for his freedom. Clean. Simple.

One guard unlocked the door. The other shoved him into the room and surprise, this was his lucky day. The guard removed the chain from the collar. Apparently he wouldn’t be restrained. Were Sempires stupid?

“There is an intercom on the wall. Should you need anything, just buzz,” Talith said.

“How about some clothes?” He didn’t have a shy bone in his body, but once freed he didn’t want to get arrested for streaking.

“Your services here don’t require clothing,” she said with a smile as she glanced at his cock. Then the guard closed and locked the door.

Kean looked around the enormous bedroom. The entire left wall was floor-to-ceiling windows, each framed with ornate gold molding. A king-size, canopied bed sat centered between the frames of the first window. Golden glass globe lights hung from the vaulted ceiling. Gold and green chairs of different shapes and sizes stood in various locations throughout the room. The largest flat-screen TV he’d ever seen hung on the wall to the right.

His gaze came back to the canopied bed. He’d missed her at first. He barely made out the small, sleeping form beneath the covers. His luck kept getting better. He stepped quietly to the bed and what he saw surprised him.

She lay on her side in the fetal position, her golden hair tangled behind her. She looked thin. Too thin and pale, and there were dark circles under her eyes. She looked so sickly he almost felt bad for what he was about to do. Almost.

He lunged and grabbed hold of her neck. That was the last thing he remembered as his entire body splintered from white hot pain as if shards of glass punctured his skin, veins, brain, muscles.

Kean’s body ached in ways he’d never experienced—a burning, piercing agony. A groan escaped his lips as a cooling sensation comforted his neck, then his brow. He struggled to remember what he’d done to make himself feel so horrible. Had he pulled a massive drunk and this was the worst hangover of his life?

“Are you awake?” A small, feminine voice asked.

Wait. Had he brought a female home with him? No. He didn’t bring females to his home. He went to theirs so he could get out when he wanted. He must be hung over at his latest conquest’s home. Why couldn’t he remember anything? He struggled to open his eyes. Damn things felt glued together.

He growled as soon as his eyes focused on the frail female bent over him and the memories flooded back to him. What the hell had happened? What had the demon done to him? And wait, why was she wiping him down with a damp cloth?

“What’d you do to me?” he croaked.
