Welcome to Thirsty Thursday! Fiction Vixen is pleased to welcome our guest bartender, DT Mann, today!
Thirsty Thursday With DT Mann
I want to share a favorite drink of mine with you. It brings back fond memories of Mexico where it first entered my head to try writing fiction. It also provided some creative fuel during the crafting of the book.
I hasten to add that the name of the drink is not a description of the activity I took part in while I was in Mexico. I did a lot of reading and soaking.
Sex on the Beach
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz peach schnapps
2 oz cranberry juice
2 oz orange juice
Add vodka and peach schnapps to a highball glass over ice. Fill with equal measures of cranberry juice and orange juice, and stir.

Two couples and some of their closest friends sit in the semi-darkened living room expectantly watching the flat screen TV. The chatter in the room hushes as the familiar news logo dominates the screen and the voice of the announcer introduces the host of the show.
“Your host this evening is CNN news anchor, Walkerton Bradley.”
The news anchor begins a story of terror abuse suspense and . . . love.
He introduces the central figure of the story, Allison Anderson. Even though they have all lived it, the small audience watches anxiously as Allison’s tale of fear, and suffering, both mental and physical makes them shudder all over again. How she lived under the control of her vicious employer/boyfriend, despite hi involvement in illegal activities and his totally amoral attitude towards women in general and Allison in particular.
They hear the all too familiar sequence of events – how Allison’s new-found best friend convinces her to leave her slave master and helps her make her escape. However Allison soon realizes she has a new challenge of trying to stay out of the grasp of her brutal tormentor who is determined to get her back.
In the midst of all the uncertainty and apprehension, she meets Heath Barton. At first she finds him bossy and overbearing but eventually comes to realize that his emotions and feelings run deep indeed.
As difficult as it is for her to believe, she soon discovers that his Alpha tendencies and his take-charge attitude are destined to help her get through the most difficult period of her life. She also finds that your age has nothing to with falling in love or having uninhibited intimacy with your true love, feelings that had been previously foreign to her.
You’re sure to find D. T. Mann’s latest novel, “Escape from Evil” a welcome addition to your library.
“Please Heath, I want you inside me please.”
“I know, baby, soon.” He kissed her neck and bit at her ear. He knew her neck was one of the spots that got to her. His thumb continued to work on her. She was moving her body against his fingers, hard.
“Please Heath now, I’m ready, I’m ready.”
Heath stood her up as he heard her complain he hushed her and he sat on the floor of the shower. He took her hand and sat her on his lap and put her legs up on his shoulders.
“Oh God Heath, what are you doing?”
He didn’t answer, he put his tongue to her swollen pink nub and pressed. Then circled it over and over.
She screamed his name as she came loudly and he took all she had to offer him.
Before Alli had time to settle, Heath moved her so she was in position for him to enter her. Her breathing was still laboured and she was still mumbling.
Heath entered her hard, she yelled, and he pulled out right away “No! Heath please”
Heath placed himself at her opening and entered her. Her eyes flew open.
Alli grabbed his neck. “Oh Heath, what are you doing to me?”
“Are you liking it angel?”
“Oh my God yeeesss!”
Heath smiled and kissed her as he continued to push in and pull out. She had no control over her moaning loudly. “Heath Now!” she screamed as she tightened her hold around his neck and came.
Heath had entered her for the last time hard and they went over the edge together. They held on to one another tightly and as they moaned and dragged out the length of their release as they both whispered each others names once more. Their breathing started to return to normal again, but Heath continued to hold her for a few more minutes.
“I love holding you wet in my arms, right after you’ve come. You feel so soft and content. I love you, angel.”
“Oh Heath, I love you so much. Thank you for loving me.” She kissed him hard, as though he was her lifeline. “I don’t want to ever let you go.”
“Baby I’ll always be here, don’t worry. Now, we have to get out, before you get sick again.” With that, he pulled out and stood her up. He took her face in his hands. “I love you angel, remember that.”
She looked at him and nodded. Oh God, he really does
D.T. Mann loves writing and reading romance novels. Now re-married and retired from her day job she has decided to pursue the creation of her own stories and characters.
Mann says her characters help her write her books:
“I am having so much fun in this process, knowing these new friends I’ve created. I find the fantasy/fiction aspect of romance fascinating. I don’t shy away from explicit sexual scenes if they are well-written and I find them appropriate to the story line.”
“A little adult spanking doesn’t hurt any Alpha or his partner’s love life and we all love our wealthy gorgeous Alphas. Married or single at any age we all fantasize over these hot men and what they do to the women they love and to our libidos.
D. T. Mann lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, Dave. She has two adult children and three “beautiful and brilliant” grandchildren.
“I’m an avid reader. I’ll stop writing to read a couple of chapters then go back to my writing.”
