I just saw the cover for Fair Game by Patricia Briggs posted on Wicked Scribes! Excuse me for a minute while I squee. I cannot wait for the February 1st release date to roll around. It’s been so long!

The third book in the Scandalous Lady series by Gayle Callen will be released on September 27th. I just bought the first book of the series, In Pursuit of a Scandalous Lady, earlier in June and am hoping it’s as awesome as I’ve heard it is.
*****
Flashfire, the 7th book in the Dragonfire series by Deborah Cooke, is set to be released on January 3rd. I just had this series recommended to me last month when I put out a call for help in locating dragon Romances. Hopefully it’s a good one.
*****
Inked Magic by Jory Strong comes out on February 2nd. The heroine’s talent looks very interesting and the M/F/M storyline seems sure to please many.
*****
Pride & Passion by Charlotte Featherstone comes out on November 15th and I absolutely love the cover for it. Lovely gown and a gorgeous color!
*****
Yet another dragon Romance is coming out soon, although this one is more of an Erotic Romance. Forbidden Embers by Tessa Adams is the 3rd book in the Dragon’s Heat series and is due out October 4th.
*****
Blood Cursed by Erica Hayes is coming out next month on August 2nd. This is short notice, but I saw this cover and had to point it out. It seems that as the series has continued on, the covers have gotten lighter and lighter. I’ve heard that the first book was very dark (but good) so I’m curious to know if the series has gotten lighter and the covers are reflecting that, or if the covers have just become more typical.

OMG! I love Patricia Briggs, and I’m with you. I’m squeeling right now. Can’t wait and counting the days.
Me too! This will definitely be a pre-order.
Those are gorgeous covers.
I’m still stuck on the Featherstone one. I don’t know why it appeals to me so much more than others, but I love it.
I agree, the Featherstone cover is lovely. Have you read her books?
I haven’t yet. You? I see her books talked about everywhere, though.
I tried to read Addicted but the prose was just too flowery for me. Not my thing. Amy, reviewer here at FV really likes her books though. I’ve heard the books are very powerful.
That’s why I haven’t read her, either. I’ve skimmed through some of the books in the store and read some excerpts online, but I don’t think they’d be for me. She’s just too flowery for me.
I do love the cover. That is what convinced me to try it.
The cover is absolutely fabulous.
Love all the covers..
Are any of them books you have been anticipating?
Great covers! I especially love the cover for FAIR GAME! It’s been too long and I’m dying for this new book in the Alpha & Omega series! Woohoo!!!!!!!!
The one book every two years for this series is killing me.
Inked Magic sounds naughty hot.
I figured it would strike quite a few people’s interest.
I love finding great covers and new authors via your site. I’m going to nominate a couple of these in Cover Cafe’s 2011 contest.
I’m glad you enjoy our cover posts!
Awesome cover!
Which one?
February is just too long to wait for Fair Game. Wasn’t it supposed to be out late this year? I’m so bummed that it’s been pushed back. I’m going to be pre-ordering just as soon as they have the Kindle link up.
I thought it was supposed to be out earlier, too, but I wasn’t quite sure.
so…it looks like (according to Amazon) that Fair Game is going to be coming out as a hardcover with a release date of Feb 7th. Do you think they’re going to hardcover since her Mercy Thompson books are now hardcover?
The wait between books is just too long!
NOOOOO, say it ain’t so. I refuse to read hardcover books and I refuse to pay the Kindle premium for them. If Fair Game comes out as a hardcover, that means I’ll have to wait even longer to read it. As it is, I still haven’t gotten River Marked, although I think about breaking down and buying it all the time.
It’s going to be in hardcover??? I must have missed that. :\
Here’s the link Catherine

I’m kind of bummed that there are so many books coming out now in hardcover. I think it’s great for the authors, but it cost so much more to buy them.
I’m bummed about it, too. I don’t buy hardcovers so it makes for a really long wait for me.
Yes and with agency pricing, the ebook versions are just as expensive as the hardcover copies. I don’t like!!
Some of those ebook prices make me cringe.
Cool! Thanks, Catherine!
I’m happy you like the ‘Fair Game’ cover. There is a better scan of it (and a few alternate sketches) here if you’re interested:

Thanks for the link. All the alternates look great, too. Did you decide on the final pick or did the publisher?
