So maybe you remember that time back in the fall where I lost my mind. I went a little crazy, went on a crime spree and stole a bunch of stuff from friends…um, well.**
I’m trying to make amends. I’ve begged and pleaded with them to forgive me and now I’m begging and pleading with everybody else. This time, instead of taking stuff, I want to fix stuff. But the question is…what do I fix?
So…well, it’s February…almost Valentine’s Day. We’ll fix some lovers! Reunite them…ya know?
Like lovers…famous lovers who just can’t seem to get connected the way they should be.
Romeo and Juliet!
Kermit and Miss Piggy!
And since none of my friends from the last go-round trust me in their homes right now, I had to enlist some new friends to go along on this little mad jaunt.
I promise, I absolutely did not steal any secrets this time, I did not break into any homes.
And they still offered up prizes…Carly Phillips, Ruthie Knox, Jaci Burton, Elle Kennedy & Lauren Dane are joining me on my…um…REUNITED tour, where I try to make amends and we talk about famous couples and give away prizes.
Wanna join us?
**I didn’t really go on a crime spree. Really. It was all in fun. Maybe I did go crazy, though. You never know.
So…I wanted to make this really easy on the authors who were helping me make amends. Just an easy question…and then we’ll ask Mr. Cupid not to tear our favorite couples apart. I don’t know if it will work, but the power of positive thinking, right?
Our next author is Elle Kennedy…
Name a famous couple that you don’t think should ever be torn apart…
Elle: A famous couple that should never be torn apart…hmmmm…I’d have to go with a literary couple here: Iris Johansen’s Eve Duncan and Joe Quinn. I absolutely adore Eve and Joe. I’ve been a fan of theirs since that first book, The Face of Deception, when they were just friends (though Joe wanted to be so much more!) Watching their relationship develop and evolve over the years has been a real treat. There were times when I thought they really would be torn apart, but luckily, this super couple managed to overcome all the obstacles in their way. I would be devastated if they ever broke up!
Our prize is a print copy of Elle’s latest, MIDNIGHT ALIAS
Here’s some info about MIDNIGHT ALIAS…
She’s smart, seductive, and in way over her head.
He’s her only way out.
An undercover DEA agent has gone off the radar. Suspecting an internal mole, the government needs Luke Dubois and his elite team of operatives to recover their man, and the New Orleans native thinks he’s found his way inside the dark underbelly of Manhattan: Olivia Taylor, the girlfriend of a mob boss and the sexiest woman he’s ever laid eyes on. His new mission objective? Get past Olivia’s defenses and convince her to take a chance—on him.
All Olivia wanted was to finish law school and live a normal life, but that dream was shattered when one dangerous night put her deeply in a mobster’s debt. Now Luke and his team will help her escape—in exchange for intel on the missing agent. But Olivia doesn’t anticipate her intense attraction to the reckless Louisiana charmer or that she’ll be forced to risk everything—including her heart.
And if you’re curious to read about the book that inspired me to REUNITE and fix things after my little life of crime…well, it’s THE REUNITED… (Yes, I had to get the promo bit in there…)
