When we first met these childhood sweethearts in Play With Me Tatiana had struck an erotic deal with Wyatt in order to keep him from putting her brother in jail. That deal led to the two rediscovering each other and reconnecting not only sexually, but emotionally. Now it’s seven months later and while their sex life is just as exciting as ever, they now have to figure out how to navigate the land mines of their new relationship.
Tatiana and Wyatt are bound and determined to make it work. Traveling back and forth between San Francisco and Las Vegas to see each other, going out on dates, having plenty of smoking hot sexy times and trying to keep their irritations and annoyances to themselves. It’s working so far, both are happy to be back together and can hardly keep their hands off each other, but everything comes to a head when Tatiana’s family comes to Vegas to visit. Wyatt has never had a comfortable relationship with them and now one of the things that came between them in their past is about to come between them again. If they let it.
While book one was all about these two reacquainting themselves with each other (and let me tell you, their idea of getting to know each other again is dirty, dirty, dirty) book two is about them actually working on their relationship outside of the bedroom. Yes, there is just as many super sexy times, but now they have to learn to figure out their problems without resorting to shutting each other up with sex. They also start to work through the reasons why they split up so long ago and have to make a conscious decision to talk things out and change the way they work on their problems. I thought this continuation of their love story was very well written. There is a nice balance between sex and emotions. There are a lot of sex scenes, but it never felt like they were thrown in for no reason. With book one the author gave a very good look into their past so that readers had an understanding that this has never been a vanilla couple content with the missionary position in the dark of night. They play hard and lusty. Sex doesn’t seem to have ever been their problem, its communication.
I think what I liked about this story the most is that there wasn’t a bad guy or good guy, by the end each had owned up to the fact that they make mistakes. Their complete willingness to work on their problems to make their relationship healthy was just as sexy as the dirty talk. I can’t wait to visit this couple again and see how far they’ve come. Final Grade- B
“You always have to sweet talk me.”
“Fine.” He leaned back , his smile lascivious. “Baby, it’s a felony for a woman to look as good as you. But if you want to suck my dick, I’ll get you off with a warning.”
“You are possibly the worst sweet-talker I’ve ever heard.”
Lazily, he rubbed his thumb over his bottom lip. “My mouth is better suited to other activities. I’ve demonstrated that.”
