Happy Friday!
I use Pocket (formerly Read It Later) to save links for things that come up on my twitter stream that I want to read later. I just realized today that a lot of the stuff I “save” is not showing up in my reading list. *cries* I need to find another app for saving links for later. Any suggestions?

Karen Marie Moning posted an excerpt from ICED on her Facebook page. How does she do it? I read this and now I’m feeling all crazed for this book. Need. Now.
Ryodan doesn’t like Mac. He never has. She got between him and his best boy-bud. I give him a look. “I’ll tell you a secret, Ryodan. You mess with her, Barrons’ll kill you.” I drag a finger across my neck. “Just like that. You aren’t all that. Barrons’ll stomp your ass, hand’s down.”
He smiles faintly. “I’ll be damned. You have a crush on Barrons.”
“I do not have a crush—“
“You do, too. It’s all over your face. Anybody could see it.”
“Sometimes, boss, you’re just wrong.”
“I’m never wrong. You might as well take out a billboard. ‘Dani O’Malley thinks Jericho Barrons is hot.’ My offer to teach you is still open. Save you from future embarrassment. If I can see it on your face, he can, too. ”
“He never figured it out before,” I grumble then realize I just admitted it. Ryodan has a tricky way of wording things that makes you say things you didn’t mean to say. “Maybe I’ll ask Barrons to teach me,” I mutter and turn away from the stairs, heading for his office. I run smack into his chest. “Dude, move. Trying to get somewhere here.”
“No one but me is ever going to teach you, Dani.”
He touches me before I see it coming, has his hand under my chin, turning my face up. My shiver is instant and uncontrollable.
“That’s non-negotiable. You signed a contract with me that grants exclusivity. You won’t like it if you try to break it.”

Mandi over at Smexy Books told me she’ll be heading out for her annual family beach vacay soon. Immediately I thought of the guest post I did at Smexy last time she headed out to the beach. It’s about why I should never be allowed to guest post. Notice she didn’t ask me to guest post this year? hmmm….
Speaking of Mandi…
I’m a busy Mimi these days and it seems I don’t have a minute to myself anymore. It’s ok, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s the comic relief in the form of text messages that gets me through the day sometimes. Here are a couple of “sessions” I had with Mandi the other day.
Mandi is the white bubbles, I’m the blue. Our conversations are always so intellectual and enlightening, don’t you think?
This next convo is broken into to parts. The reason is it’s one convo, but take note of the times:
30 minutes later…(Keep in mind, Mandi is closely related to someone named Jack. Like, very closely related)
I was like WTF? 
Ok, so that’s it for me. I’m off to buy a new dishwasher with a hubby and three kids in tow. Wish me luck people and may The Force be with me.

I use Pocket (formly RIL) as well and I haven’t had any problems with it saving links. Have you created an account? If it’s still giving you trouble, I hope you find an alternative that works.
Whoa. That excerpt from Iced is gooooooood! I haven’t been keeping up-to-date on Iced; do we know how old Dani is going to be in this book?
And does that excerpt confirm a Dani/Ryodan pairing?? I am not sure how I would feel about that. I am still on the fence with Dani but love Ryodan in a sick Barrons-like fashion.
It has to be Dani/Ryodan right?
And I heard the book picks up right where Shadowfever ends – but it MUST jump ahead a bit…right?
Of course it’s a 3 bk series so maybe in future books time moves forward

Jen-Ryodan has been hinting at his interest in Dani for a while now. I’m convinced it’s romantic as well as other interests. KMM will bring Dani around. I hope
What about that Dancer guy? Or Christian? Aren’t they both supposed to be in these books too?
Dammit, I just want more Barrons. To hell with the rest of ‘em.
Have they ever hinted at interest in Dani? I want Ryodan. He’s scary like Barron’s. Rawr!!!
Can someone remind me of Dani’s age in the Fever series? I’m having a difficult time with her having a romance…..
She’s a teen. I don’t remember how old. But that’s why there is speculation about a time jump.
