What a great week. We’re back on track here at Casa Vixen. The kiddos went back to school and hubby went back to work. The house was mine again…MINE! Henrianna the beta fish and I were glad for a few hours of solitude but we do miss the hustle and bustle of a full house a little bit. So yay, it’s Friday and the weekend will bring a full house once again.
What the hubs likes this week:
The hubster found these mugs for sale online not long ago. With the royal wedding coming up there is a ton of
crap lovely merchandise being sold to commemorate the occasion.
Look closely. Do you see the problem here? I love this. Love. When my hubs saw this it was an auto buy. Tell me if you see the problem in the comments.
Edited: Because so many of you asked, here is the link to order this lovely commemorative cup from Guandong Enterprises. Do so at your own risk, we used the PayPal option to pay and it took several weeks to receive our order.
Lookie what I got this week. Squee.
I got a copy of Jennifer Estep’s Touch Of Frost. I’m a fan of her Elemental Assassin series and I’m eager to read the first book in her new YA Mythos Academy series due out July 26, 2011.
OMG did you hear that ABC has cancelled All My Children and One Life To Live? Wow. I haven’t watched soaps in a long time but I loved these shows back in the day. My mother and grandmother watched these soaps. It’s the end of an era. I guess I never really thought the day would come. I know it sounds silly but I feel like I’m losing a part of my teenage and young adulthood. So sad.
Hey did you know there is a website that keeps track of when Kindle books become free, or when there is a price drop for Kindle books at Amazon? I didn’t know either but I saw the link over at KindleVixen the other day. It’s called eReaderIQ. Check it out, it’s a great resource. I’ve added the link to my eReader resource page.
This week at Fiction Vixen I posted a list of things I have never done to get a little extra read time and I asked you all to post your confessions. There were some really great confessions and it just proved what I’ve always suspected. I am among friends. You are my people. I love you man. If you haven’t gone to confessional, do stop by and spill your guts please.
And finally this weeks llama love comes from Pam, more affectionately known as Spaz. She sent me the “Bitch Please” llama. Be afraid.
That’s all folks. Happy weekend.
