More Hot Covers!!

OMG! We finally have a cover for the last book in Rachel Caine’s Outcast Season series! I have been both anticipating and dreading the release of Unbroken in equal measure. I can’t wait to read it, but I will be incredibly sad to say goodbye to this world.

Nalini Singh once again managed to score a gorgeous cover in her Guild Hunter series. This isn’t the final copy of the cover, though. There are still going to be a few edits, but for now this is what we have for Angels’ Flight. I think it’s awesome. What do you guys think?

Heart of Atlantis is the final book in the current Warriors of Poseidon arc. Alyssa Day is finally giving all those Alaric fans what they have been clamoring for. I really like the pose of the model on the cover. The way his chin is tilted, combined with his body angle, makes me think very naughty things. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We have a new offering from Candace Camp with a very simple, lovely cover. A Winter Scandal is the first book in a new series and it should fit the bill for all of those looking for a Christmas Romance. I’ll have to check this one out when it releases in October. Camp’s books are always nice when I’m looking for a simple, happy book.

Not Wicked Enough seems to have had excellent luck in the cover department as well. I saw that Carolyn Jewel said that there might be a few cover refinements before it’s published, but I think they have a winner already. Those colors look awesome together. I’m definitely going to get my hands on this book when it releases. I recently read Scandal and was quite impressed with her ability to write compelling emotion.

A Perfect Blood by Kim Harrison is the tenth book in The Hollows series. I haven’t read these yet, but I’ve heard so many good things about them that I plan to try to squeeze them in soon. I already own the first three, now I just have to find the time.

All you cowboy lovers will soon have another fix. Wrangled and Tangled by Lorelei James will be coming to a store near you in November. I know Sophia will be particularly happy to hear this. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m noticing a lot of red dresses in the current Historical Romance releases. I’m not complaining, because I think most of them pop, but I have taken note of it. Twice Fallen is the second book in Emma Wilde’s Ladies in Waiting series, and I know at least one Fiction Vixen member (Amy) who will be stoked to hear we’re that much closer to the release date.

Wow Catherine, great cover choices! You are right, red is the color of the moment and I love it! So excited for the next Emma Wildes and for Carolyn Jewel’s release. (Her cover is beautiful!) I still need to catch up and read Scandal.

Thanks. There were a ton that I wanted to include, but I restrained myself. :) I completely agree about Jewel’s cover. It is so gorgeous. And I figured you’d be excited to see the new Wildes cover. ๐Ÿ˜€

Love love love the Nalini Singh & Rachel Caine covers! I like them all! The guy on the Alyssa Day cover looks like he’s…jerking it, though. Why, I don’t know. I’d totally help him out. ^_^

I hear good things about the 1st book in Emma Wildes series. IIRC, the hero is part Native American.

    • says

That’s exactly what I thought about the Day cover. ๐Ÿ˜› You’re remembering correctly about the first Wildes book. The hero is half Native American and wipes the drink he spilled off the heroine’s chest. That’s what I remember from the summary, at least.

Ohhhhh…pretty! That Carolyn Jewel cover is hot! So excited about Wrangled and Tangled and Twice Fallen.

I seriously need to get on the Singh train. Not sure why the heck I haven’t read any of her books. There is just too many books out there!

And OMG…on the Alyssa Day cover now that Ammarylis pointed out what it looks like he’s doing I can so see that. I volunteer to help too!

Catherine do you read Stephanie Tyler? She has a new trilogy coming out. The cover is hot. I just posted it on my blog.

    • says

You definitely need to jump on the Singh train! ๐Ÿ˜€ I don’t recognize the author. I’ll run over to your blog and take a look.

Finally you post Angel’s Flight cover, yay! :D.. So pretty, will look good at my bookshelves :)

Carolyn Jewel’s cover remind me so much of “Flawless” by Carrie Lofty. The pose and the red color, both is gorgeous too :)

    • says

Oh, you’re right, they both do seem similar. Flawless is completely gorgeous and the storyline and location seem intriguing to boot! Thanks for mentioning it, I might have to check it out.
