More Book News and Hot Covers!

Oracle’s Moon by Thea Harrison finally has a cover! The author said that we meet the hero and heroine in Serpent’s Kiss, but that Khalil, the hero, has a cameo in Storm’s Heart.

Immortal Defender by Lisa Hendrix is coming out in August 2012. I’m getting the dark and broody vibe about the hero Torvald. It should be fun watching him fall in love. ;)

How have I missed this series? Under Attack by Hannah Jayne is releasing November 1st and it looks like a good one. A null heroine mixed up with a fallen angel sounds right up my alley. Can anyone give me the skinny on this series? Good? Bad?

My, my, what a pink cover. :) Siren’s Desire by Devyn Quinn will be releasing in February and I am curious to see what I’ll think of it. I really liked the world in the second book, Siren’s Surrender, but I had less luck with the romance.

As far as I can tell, Shaedes of Gray by Amanda Bonilla is a brand new series from a brand new author. How exciting! The only downside of that is the lack of a backlist to glom if I love her book. :D But wow, she got lucky on her cover, eh? I think it’s awesome.

Has anyone noticed how many reaper books seem to be coming out lately? Mind you, I’m not complaining, I’m just noticing. Angel of Darkness by Cynthia Eden is no exception and features an angel of death. I’ve never read anything by this author, but I might have to rectify that with this one.

There are no covers yet, but books 4, 5, and 6 in the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne will be titled Tricked, Trapped, and Hunted, respectively. The author says there’s a slight chance of Hunted being renamed, but that’s what we have for now.

Jennifer Estep has rereleased her Bigtime series in ebook!  Right now in the Kindle store, Karma Girl, Hot Mama, and Jinx are only $2.99!

Free Prequels!!! I’m not sure how long it will last, but right now in the Kindle store the prequel for Jennifer Estep’s Mythos Academy and the prequel for The Goblin King by Shona Husk are FREE. Run over and get your copy of First Frost and Summons while it lasts.

That chick’s boobs at Under Attack’s cover make me jealous.. And there’s typo at Oracle’s Moon cover. Its “Serpant” not “Serpent”. I hope it will change when the book out :)

BTW, not just about reaper, angel theme seems become popular lately. But still Guild Hunter’s Nalini Singh is the best :D

I was pretty impressed by her boobs, too. Ha! I didn’t even notice that typo on the cover. Good eye.

I’ve seen an abundance of angels around, too. I love the Guild Hunter series too. The wing descriptions alone are awesome.

I just saw it today and cursed myself for missing the opportunity to put it in this post. Oh well, I’ll have it on the next one. You’re right, by the way. Those wings are gorgeous.

I read the first book in Hannah Jayne’s series and liked it, but it was definitely light on the romance, so I’m looking forward to this second one, even if the cover is a bit too boobilicious for my taste! ;)

And I agree with Ren, Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series is the best!

    Hi Catherine,

I’m Hannah Jayne’s publicist at Kensington, and while I may be a little biased, I can tell you that her Underworld Detection Agency Chronicles are totally awesome! If you’re interested in checking out her new book, UNDER ATTACK, send me an email at I’d be happy to send some review copies your way!
