I love to talk about what I’m reading but I always leave something off the list and then I feel bad. So this is today’s list of my Top 5 Series in Alphabetical Order. Everything from post-apocalypse to funny to dark to hot m/m – yes I like to switch it up.
Beyond Series by Kit Rocha. The world-building is vast, the characters unforgettable, and the writing is superb. It’s no wonder that this series wins awards. I’m in love with Bren, Finn, and Lex, or all three at the same time. O’Kane For Life.
Rock Chicks Series by The Queen, Kristen Ashley. These are my people, from the music to the clothes, I’d make a great character in this series (Hello Kristen????). The secondary characters are strong and I always laugh at something Tex does. Rock On.
Stripped Series by Skye Warren. This is not for everyone. I’m fascinated and sometimes unsettled. Her writing pushes my boundaries and I love that. This world is different than anything I’ve ever experienced and I’m addicted.
Thirds Series by Charlie Cochet. I fell for the author before I read book 1. When I did- I was blown away. The world, the characters, and the heat – WOW. The writing is tight and the characters are fully developed- Buy these books.
–Winston Brothers by Penny Reid. I think most fans think of these as the “Beard Books.” Laugh out loud funny and sweet, but not too sugary. I swear every damn time that I hear the word “sausage” I can’t help but chuckle. Buy these books and even if you aren’t sure- save them for a down day and you will feel better. She is a genius and I’m stalking her so that I can slobber all over her like the crazed fangirl that I am.

I have a new name in a new city.
Tye and I agreed to be friends only. Now he sleeps in my bed every night, holding me close, protectively. After everything that I’ve been through, I’m not sure that I can handle more, besides he isn’t a relationship kind of guy. I’m not even sure why he’s here with me.
I saw Billie and wanted her immediately. I know that she has secrets but getting to know her is like unwrapping a gift, slower is better. Her scars run deep and every day is a struggle. I want to help her, to protect her from those that want to hurt her. I tell myself that’s why I’m holding her every night.
We’re just friends… It’s for the Best that way.
