J.R Ward posted the final cover for Lover Reborn (due for release March 27th 2012 by NAL) on her Facebook page. Here is what she said:
Tohr’s draft is finally done! He came in at a WHOPPING 754 manuscript pages, a total of 176,937 words AND he’s going to expand as I go through him the next two times soooooo we could be looking at a Rehv length (Avenged is the longest book in the series so far.) So… man, I’m wrung out- time to go for a run to work out the kinks!
What do you think? Do you like the cover? The changes are very subtle from the version that leaked earlier this year. I was hoping for more revisions.

It’s definitely not my favorite of the covers. I guess when I picture Tohr I see him a bit manlier and worn a bit…if that makes sense. The model is HAWT don’t get me wrong but his face is bit too fresh faced for me! LOL! But I am looking forward to finally seeing him get his HEA. Still need to catch up on this series. I stopped after Phury’s book.
I definitley picture Tohr more rugged looking. Good thing the books are good!
I love the cover and can’t wait for Tohr’s story. I am still crying for Wellsie. I can’t only have great hope that J.R. Ward does it right. But Tohr has punished himself enough and needs to have happiness.
I’m still sad about Wellie too. I hope Tohr gets a great story.

I am still kind of uncomfortable about this story. I don’t know how she is going to make it work. I just don’t see how she can write around Wellsie.
Yes, I think a lot of people feel that way, me included. I’m still mourning Wellsie. *tear*
I want to read it to find out how the WARDen is going to handle it. I hope things go well for Tohr but at the same time I don’t want Wellsie to be forgotten.
I still don’t understand what is going to happen to his tattoo. I’m sure he is not going to cover it up but what will happen to his HEA’s name? It will be written underneath? I’m so confused. And that cover just does nothing for me!
I don’t like this cover at all. I saw a different one on Shelfari that has a couple on it which I prefer. I don’t like the colour and I don’t think the model is attractive at all. He isn’t Tohr to me.
This cover is a big improvement over the last one, but it’s still not thrilling me.
I didn’t think it was much of an improvement. I’m still disappointed.
His head looked weird to me in the original cover version so cropping it improved it, IMO. Now he has the illusion of bulk since you can’t see exactly how scrawny he is.
Yes, that’s true, the cropping does help. Still, he’s just too young looking for me. He looks like one of Sherilyn Kenyon’s heroes. Aren’t they all youngsters? lol
I agree, he looks pretty young. I think you’re right, Kenyon’s heroes always look young.
Yea not a fan of the cover either…Tohr’s supposed to be thin and kinda worn out from the ordeal that he’s been through. I like the color combinations but I think he should be a bit older not look like he’s about 19 years old; In my head he should look about 30ish. But I know covers change so hopefully we will get the change we want…
@Millie I was wondering about the tattoo also but I guess we’ll have to wait a few months to get the answer to that…
