Everyone knows—or should by now—that I am a crazy fan girl when it comes to Moira Rogers’ werewolves. They are super sexy, growly, and in the words of Bree and Donna “arrogant bastards”. (They might call them arrogant bastards but those Moira Rogers alpha males are pure gummy bears on the inside.) So I feel a little like I’m betraying my Red Rock werewolves that I’ve loved and adored by declaring myself TEAM VAMPIRE LUMBERJACK. But dang it, sexy Vampire Adam Dubois from Sanctuary Unbound has lured me to the vampire side.
He says things like this that get my motor running:

Note to Red Rock Pass werewolves: I am fickle in my attentions and am always open to wooing. Hear that Alec from the Southern Arcana series? You may woo me. I’m okay with it.

I just finished Sanctuary Unbound over the weekend and definitely recommend the Red Rock series to everyone. Heck all the books by Moira Rogers are great.

So a Vampire lumber jack does sound sexy with all that plaid and all. However, I imagine a werewolf bootlegger as a gruff and sexy with the added benefit of an unlimited supply of booze. And as someone who is very close to the world of legal drinking(I'm almost 21!), the bootlegger has definite appeal.
For the Sanctuary series I've always loved the werewolves. BUT ever since I started reading paranormals I've had an affinity for vampires and the idea of a vampire lumberjack is hot! Go Team Lumberjack!

I can be a trouble maker, I want both, shame on me huh,blame it on some really good posts numbering the wolf advantage of being able to be out at all times of the day and the fact that he's warm and really alive and can share a real meal of food. Although the wolfie can take care of me 24/7 and the vamp can only manage about half,he's still strong, mustled and sexy as hell, maybe they won't mind sharing, I wouldn't mind it. After all why can't I have my cake and eat it too.
