Eagerly Anticipating: July Romance Releases!

I’m taking the reigns on the Eagerly Anticipating post this month. Catherine usually does this post so mine won’t be as fabulous. :) Don’t worry, she’ll be back next month with her regularly scheduled EA post. Let’s get started.

Here are a few upcoming releases that we’re looking forward to, or think you might be eager to get your hands on next month.

Anticipated July Romance Releases

Echoes at Dawn by Maya Banks will be reviewed here at Fiction Vixen in the coming weeks. Amy is a big fan of the series and I know she has high hopes for this one after a bit of a disappointment in the last book.

Jill Shalvis is a favorite among contemporary romance readers. Her Lucky Harbor series is very popular and I admit to loving it just a little. Ok a lot. I’m looking forward to Forever and a Day.

Molly Harper has become one of my go-to authors for romance and humor. She does snark like no other author I can think of. Every time I read one of her books I literally laugh out loud. I recently gave my mom a Kindle and I ordered And One Last Thing for her. I’m really looking forward to The Care and Feeding Of Stray Vampires! I must see if I can beg an early copy somewhere. :)

I haven’t read Christine Feehan is a very long time. I haven’t kept up with what she’s writing but when Samurai Game arrived for review, I was intrigued. Since I’m not current I asked fellow blogger, Scooper if she’d like to review it at Fiction Vixen. Her review will be up in July.

I thought Fire Kissed was the fourth book in the Shadow series by Erin Kellison (that’s what is says at GoodReads) but apparently this is book 1 in the Shadow Kissed series. I have a copy sitting right next me and I’m looking forward to reading it. I need more hours in the day!

Hot in Handcuffs. Do I need to say anymore? Especially with a bad-ass line up like: Shayla Black, Sylvia Day and Shiloh Walker. We’ll have a review of this one on the blog next month.

The Siren by Tiffany Reisz is being released in paperback next month. It caused quite a stir among readers when it was released in ebook format in May. I have a copy but haven’t read it yet. This one will definitely push my boundaries so I need to be in the right frame of mind. Have you read it? What did you think?

A Hunger So Wild by Sylvia Day. Is is just me or does this author have a lot going on right now? I’m seeing her books everywhere. She’s had a lot of coverage here at Fiction Vixen lately. :)

Yikes! I’m neglecting historical romance for July. When You Wish Upon a Duke by Isabella Bradford and Ravishing the Heiress by Sherry Thomas are set for release next month. I haven’t been in the HR zone lately which in really unusual for me. It’ll come back…I hope! :)

Leaping Hearts Jessica Bird (J.R.Ward) Leaping Hearts Jessica Bird (J.R. Ward)

And finally, Leaping Hearts by Jessica Bird / J.R. Ward is being reissued. I just wanted to show a side by side example of the old and updated covers. I say go with what will sell the book by I have to wonder why they even put the name Jessica Bird on the new cover. Who’s going to get past the giant J.R. Ward? LOL

There are so many more smokin’ hot releases next month. What’s on your wish list?

I very much rec Ravishing the Heiress. The angst. The pain. It will kill you a little bit.

I’ve heard the new Jill Shalvis is realllly good. And The Siren. Solid “A” read for me.

I need the new Molly Harper! Excited for it!

I read Leaping Hearts years ago and loved it! Glad to see it getting reissued…if only I had waited because I paid what seemed like a fortune for a “well-used” copy of the original.

I really want to read The Siren, but oh I feel a little nervous about it.

Oh Jen…life will return to normal someday I promise. FV will have to start saving up to rent you a cabin in the woods for a week to do nothing to READ!! :)
