Jen: Hi Jill, welcome to Fiction Vixen. Thanks so much for talking with us, we are very excited to have you as our guest! I am a serious fan girl and absolutely devour your work.
Jill: I love fan girls who devour my work. :)
Jen: You have had a big year in 2012!! Four Lucky Harbor books (which were fantastic!), book 3 in your Animal Magnetism series, and Time Out were all released this year. Please tell me how you balance your time!? Have you figured out the secret to getting 26 hours out of a 24 hour day? If so, please share with me! I promise I won’t tell.
Jill: There’s no secret, I wish there was! Those books were written over a two year period of time, so contrary to popular belief, I’m not working 26 hours a day. Well, maybe my imagination is, but not my fingers. :)
Jen: I look forward to your updates on FB and your blog especially when they are about Frat Boy or “Man Wars” with Kristan Higgins. So where does Frat Boy get his name? If you had to give up all social media outlets except one, which one would be the lone survivor?
Jill: Frat Boy is so named because he’s always just looking for a good time. Just like a Frat Boy. Or a one year old black lab, lol. As for social media, I only do what I enjoy. But if there had to be a lone survivor, it would probably be my blog, which give me the most freedom to do whatever I want.
Jen: I have heard you say that your favorite hero is the one you are currently working on. My favorite hero has been Dr. Josh. He was 100% sigh worthy. With having so many books how do you, not really keep track, but how do you make each character stand out for you and for us readers?
Jill: When I’m done with a book, I give myself a little break to mourn the loss of the characters. Sounds silly, doesn’t it? But it allows me to move onto the next book without looking back. As for making each character stick out, that’s in the building of the character, making sure everyone has their own distinctness. Is that a word, distinctness? I might have just made that up. :)
Jen: Like you, I have an extreme love of all things Roarke. Do any of your heroes remind you of Roarke?
Jill: No, I can’t go there because no one can write a Roarke like Nora. But I heart him. I heart him so much I’d leave Alpha Man for him. Shh, don’t tell.
Jen: What would you like readers to know about Rescue My Heart before they read it?
Jill: That it’s a stand alone. You don’t have to read Animal Magnetism and Animal Attraction to enjoy it. But if you did, I wouldn’t mind. :)

I love Jill’s stories and her blog is fantastic. I can identify with her “Lucy Moments” and it’s cool she shares them with us. I like “real people”, not ones that pretend to be perfect, lol.
