More Smokin’ Hot Covers!

Here are some of our favorite romance novel and urban fantasy covers recently discovered by Catherine. Check’em out:

Blood Before Sunrise
Amanda Bonilla’s latest book, Blood Before Sunrise, comes out in July. This cover isn’t bad, but I preferred the look of the first book, Shaedes of Gray. It was striking.

*****

Dream Lake
I don’t read Lisa Kleypas’s contemporary books, but I love her Historical Romances. Who reads her Contemporary Romances? Are you looking forward to the release of Dream Lake?

*****

Pleasures of a Tempted Lady
Pleasures of a Tempted Lady by Jennifer Haymore will be released in July. It’s the third book in the Donovan Sisters series and looks to be about a relationship that was built up over the series.

*****

The Janus Affair
I am so pleased to see a cover for The Janus Affair. I enjoyed the first book in the series, Phoenix Rising, and have been looking forward to seeing what comes next for Eliza and Wellington. Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris created a fun set of main characters with this series.

*****

Shadow Rising
Shadow Rising by Kendra Leigh Castle is the third book in the Dark Dynasties series. I read and enjoyed the first book in the series, Dark Awakening, and will soon be reading the second book, Midnight Reckoning. I guess that means that I’ll probably grab this one when it comes out, too.

*****

Echoes At Dawn
I have never read Maya Banks, but I have many a friend that enjoys her work. Is anyone waiting for Echoes At Dawn to be released?

*****

Wilder
I haven’t read Christina Dodd’s paranormal series, although I keep meaning to, but I have tried her Historicals. Who’s read this series? Are any of you anticipating Wilder?

*****

Demon Hunting in the Deep South
The summary of Demon Hunting in the Deep South makes me think that it’s going to be a fun read. It sounds like the heroine finds herself in some awkward situations and is left to weather it the best that she can. Has anyone read Lexi George before? What’s her style like?

*****

The Iron Wyrm Affair
I think I like this book just for its title alone. The Iron Wyrm Affair sounds so fun. It has a steampunkish vibe (or magic in this case) to it that I like. I might have to check out Lilith Saintcrow’s latest when it comes out.

*****

Rapture
I don’t follow this series, or this J.R. Ward in general–blasphemy, I know!–but I know quite a few of you do. So here’s the cover for Rapture. You can expect it out in September.

TrishJ definitely read Lisa Kleypas’s historicals, they are wonderful!

I am anxiously awaiting: Wilder, Demon Hunting in the Deep South, and Echoes at Dawn..

I read the first Lexi George book and loved it. It is full of humor, which I love in a book.

Good to know. I frequently find myself in the mood for a book to make me laugh, so I’ll put it in my TBR for a day like that.

I am looking forward to both the Lisa Kleypas and the JR Ward book. That Angels series is even more awesome than the BDB.
