I’m late, I know! But better late than never, huh? Stop glaring at me, people. Blame my internet provider for my tardiness, not me. They’re the ones who were having ‘technical difficulties’.
*Scheduled for release June 5th*
Blood Kin by M.J. Scott – I’m really excited to get my hands on this. I read the first book, Shadow Kin, and was very impressed by the character complexity and darkness of the world. I can’t wait to see what makes the previous hero’s brother, Guy, tick. His attitude and profession (Templar!) intrigued me.
Disappearing Nightly by Laura Resnick – This is a reprint. I don’t know if any content has been changed, but I know it’s got a new cover. Why do I know this? Because it’s been on my TBR forever! The reissue will be a nice excuse for me to finally get a copy and try it out.
*Scheduled for release June 26th*
Angel Betrayed by Cynthia Eden – I really enjoyed my initial of Eden when I read the first book in this series, Angel of Darkness. I’m eager to learn more about Sam, the hero of this book. His good guy/bad guy status was very murky in the first book.
Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost – Finally, Vlad’s story is here! I jumped off the Cat & Bones train a while ago, but I can’t say no to Vlad. *sigh* Love him.
Scandal Wears Satin by Loretta Chase – OMGosh, I l-o-v-e this author. I cannot wait to read this. Her stories are so fun and charming. If you haven’t tried her, you’re missing out!
Tarnished by Karina Cooper – I haven’t read this author before, but this book sounds fun. I’m always up for a new Steampunk adventure. I am rather nervous about the possibility of a love triangle, though. On Amazon, the blurb says, “I must decide where my attentions will turn: to my daylight world, where my scientific mind sets me apart from respectable Society, or to the compelling domain of London below. Each has a man who has claimed my time as his—for good or for ill.” Sounds like a love triangle to me. I might wait to see what my friends think of this before trying it myself. I just don’t want to be stuck with another triangle.
Thief of Shadows by Elizabeth Hoyt – I have really enjoyed this series so far. The hero of this book, Winter, hasn’t ever particularly sparked my interest before now, but I’m willing to put faith in Hoyt and read it anyway. She can tell a mean HR.
Wicked Nights by Gena Showalter – I’m stoked to try this angel spinoff series. One, I like angels. Two, I like Gena Showalter. Sounds like a win-win for me.

Lots of goodies that I want
They look so good all lined up together. Want… *drool*
I can’t wait for “Scandal Wears Satin.” It’ll be fun to see Sophy and Longmore sparring.
I can’t wait, either! I love Chase’s dialogue, so it should be a lot of fun.
Thief of Shadows!! Gimme gimme!!
Sounds like someone is a Winter lover.
I adore him and I knew his secret so I can’t wait for his story!!
I was pretty sure I knew it too, but it was nice to have confirmation in the last book.
Oohhh, I’m so excited for Vlad to get his HEA!! This is one of my Top 5 most anticipated books of the year. And that cover is hawt!
It’s a new ongoing series so his story will continue with his heroine. *wink*
Has the author said how many will be in the series yet?
I’m so excited to finally get more Vlad!
Angel Betrayed…I wants!!!
I can’t wait to get more Sam.
I am also excited for Blood Kin. And for Elizabeth Hoyt’s newest book, after reading a review on your site I tried her out and fell in love with her writing.
Oh really? I’m so glad to hear that. I love it when people find great books based on our recs.
I have got to start Elizabeth Hoyt’s Maiden Lane series this summer! I must, I must!!!
Have you read her at all before?
No, but I have the Maiden Lane series to start!
The Princes trilogy is also very good.
That’s excellent, Lexi. Like Sophia said, we love to hear that people have discovered new keeper authors after reading one of our reviews and deciding to try them out.
A lot to look forward to!
Anything in particular that you’re especially anticipating in June?
Oh yes, Once Burned!! Must remind myself to pre-order it!
I can’t wait for Wicked Night, but sometimes I hope Gena will finish her old series rather than start a new ones
I tend to prefer that too. I like closure.
Gah! So many good books I needa get my hands on like yesterday
Are you looking forward to any new releases in particular?
i am dying to read book 4 of stacia kane’s chasing magic….. highly highly recommended….
I think Sophia’s really looking forward to that one too.
My most anticipated new release book is Once Burned!!! I love Vlad & Jeaniene Frost!! He’s my favorite of the Night Huntress novels.
I think a lot of people feel that way about Vlad. I do
Agreed. He seems to be a fan favorite.
