Eagerly Anticipating: Is It December Yet?

Can you believe that we’re almost to the end of 2011? Thanksgiving is almost here and Christmas is right around the corner. I just can’t believe the year is almost over! I must have lost time there somewhere. At least with 2012 almost here I know I’m that much closer to certain new releases. ;)

*Scheduled for release December 6th*

Devil’s Kiss by Zoe Archer – I’m really excited to try this book out. The author impressed with her detailed worlbuilding and interesting characters in her The Blades of the Rose series. I can’t wait to give this one a spin.

An Unexpected Gentleman by Alissa Johnson – Yay, a new book by this author! I loved the last book I read by her, Nearly a Lady, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this one.

Daybreak by Ellen Connor – The final episode of the Dark Age Dawning trilogy is finally coming out. I can’t wait to see Tru and Penny all grown up. Plus, it’s been twelve years and I am eager to see how the world has changed in that time.

Lawe’s Justice by Lora Leigh – Ah, another Breed book. I hope this one has the effects of mating heat muted or ignored enough to form an actual relationship. Those ones always end up being my favorite.

Shaedes of Gray by Amanda Bonilla – I cannot wait to try this one out. Assassins and shaedes? Yes, please. :)

That Old Black Magic by Michelle Rowen – I love this series! I loved the relationship developments we saw between Eden and Darrak in the last book, Something Wicked. I can’t wait to see where the author takes their relationship in this one.

*Scheduled for release December 27th*

A Lady Awakened by Cecilia Grant – The blurb for this book has me intrigued. I enjoy straitlaced heroines paired with more uninhibited men, so I’m hoping this one works for me.

The Duke Is Mine by Eloisa James – Love this author. Love this series. Need I say more? I can’t wait to see this author’s take on the story of The Princess and the Pea.

The Mortal Bone by Marjorie M. Liu – I really enjoy this Urban Fantasy series. This author always creates intriguing worlds, and this one is no exception. I particularly enjoy Maxine’s tattoos.

Great! There goes my book budget for December now! My hubby always asks me why I set a budget when I know I am going to go over it. LMAO I told him at least I spend my money on books and purses to hide them in instead of clothes and makeup!
