Sparks Fly
Finally a cover for Sparks Fly by Katie MacAlister. This is the third book in the Light Dragons series, which I’ve heard is hilarious. You can expect this one to hit this shelves on May 1st.

Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors
Look, Sophia! A new cover for the 4th Jane Jameson book. Nice Girls Don’t Bite Their Neighbors by Molly Harper will be releasing February 28th, so be ready!

*****

Sins of the Demon
Sins of the Demon by Diana Rowland will be coming to a store near you on January 3rd. I’ve got to be honest, I am not loving how often this series changes cover styles. I really liked the first two, but the third one completely changed styles and didn’t thrill me at all. Now, this one is different again. I like it more than the third, but the covers are changing so often that I have a hard time recognizing the series at a glance.

Now or Never
Yay! Getting a cover for Now or Never means I’m that much closer to getting my hands on a copy of Michele Bardsley’s second Wizards of Nevermore book. I read and enjoyed the first book, Never Again, and have been waiting impatiently for this one to release ever since. March 6th, here I come. ;)

*****

Blood on the Bayou
Blood on the Bayou is the second book in Stacey Jay’s Annabelle Lee series. I haven’t read the first book yet, but I plan to. I’ve heard good things about it and am always up for another take on the fae. This book will be released on March 27th.

*****

Shadow's Fall
Shadow’s Fall by Dianne Sylvan will be released on March 27th. I’m curious to hear what people think of this one after the overwhelmingly negative reaction people had to the second book in the series. Well, overwhelmingly negative among my friends, at least. ;)

A Devil Named Desire
A Devil Named Desire is the second in the Devil’s Bargain series by Terri Garey. The cover’s not wowing me, but the blurb sounds interesting.

*****

Left Hand Magic
Left Hand Magic is the second book in the Golgotham series. This cover isn’t anything extraordinary, but I like it. The colors and the pose go really well together. You can expect this latest offering from Nancy A. Collins on December 6th.

Shelly Laurenston’s latest Pride book, Bear Meets Girl, will be coming out on March 27th. I’m not quite sure about the Crush/Cella pairing, but I have faith in this author’s ability to win me over. There was an awesome excerpt in Laurenston’s latest offering. I can’t post the whole thing for you, but I’ll give you a little quote.

Have you ever tried to sleep with a canine? They yip in their sleep. And run. It’s annoying. And Mace wouldn’t take the couch so I could sleep with his wife so — ”

“You asked a lion male to move out of his bed for you?”

“Why wouldn’t I? Because he’s the majestic lion male, king of the jungle? Or because he’s a rich Llewellyn of the Llewellyn Pride?”

“Because it’s the man’s house.”

“It’s his wife’s house. MacDermot just allows him to stay here with her and those giant, useless dogs she owns. And I know she’d pick those ridiculous rotties over that lion in a hot second.”

The second book in Zoe Archer’s Hellraiser series will be called Demon’s Bride and will be released on May 1st.

The third book in Keri Arthur’s Dark Angels series is called Darkness Devours and will be released on May 29th.

Half-werewolf, half-Aedh Risa Jones can enter the realm between life and death, and she can see the Reapers who collect the souls of the dead. Now, she is using her gifts—and the investigative know-how of a man who broke her heart—to find a cabal searching for the power to control time, reality, and fate. And this is besides her work for the Vampire Council, half of whom want her dead.

But for now the Council needs her alive. Someone is killing blood-whore addicted vampires, and Risa must find the guilty party. If she succeeds, she may finally convince the council to lift the execution order on her life. But before she succeeds, she must first survive…

Katie MacAlister has a couple books going for only $0.99 on Kindle right now. I’m not sure how long they’ll stay that way, so check it out now if you’re interested. I think Noble Intentions and The Trouble With Harry are particularly good deals, given that Amazon doesn’t sell them in paperback anymore. You can also check out Suffragette in the City and Bring Out Your Dead

*****

In Pursuit of a Scandalous Lady by Gayle Callen, Spider’s Bite by Jennifer Estep, and Halfway to the Grave (with bonus material) by Jeaniene Frost are only $1.99 in the Kindle store right now. So if you’ve been considering giving the series a try, this is a nice opportunity to get them cheap.

Right now you can get the first three books in The Parasol Protectorate series for only $9.99! Check it out.

I haven’t read Katie MacAlister in a while. I love funny, light paranormals, so I should pick her up again.

Thanks for letting me know there is going to be another Nice Girls Don’t… book out. I thought the series had ended for some reason, and was kind of bummed. I’ll put this on my to buy list.

I’m also going to have to check out the other titles mentioned b/c I don’t know these authors. I’m always looking for new reads, so I appreciate the heads up.

AHHH! The cover for the new book in the “Light Dragons” series! And it’s PURPLE!

Catherine, ITA about the Rowland covers. They’re all over the place, althougn Sins of the Demon is still a kickass cover IMO. It reminds me of Gini Koch’s “Katherine Katt” series.
