While my reading list is not as long as some I’ve seen in the blogosphere, I had the opportunity to read and review some really great books last month.
Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid, #1) by Richelle Mead-4 hearts
I did a joint review with Mandi over at SmexyBooks. This was a fun book, and I’ll be reading the rest of the series ASAP!
Lead Me On (Tumble Creek, #3) by Victoria Dahl-4 hearts
My first Victoria Dahl novel, will not be my last. Loved it!.
Giving Chase (Chase Brothers, #1) by Lauren Dane-4 hearts
After reading Laid Bare and Coming Undone, I had to read another Lauren Dane, I had to! Giving Chase solidified my recent obsession with Southern men. Yum
Shattered (Bitter Creek, #8) by Joan Johnston-2 hearts
Unfortunately, this book was not for me. I really wanted to like it but there was just too much going on and it fell a bit flat. Perhaps I’ll try another Joan Johnston in the future though.
Crux (Southern Arcana, Book 1) by Moira Rogers-4 hearts
A great start to the series. Once I read this one I was eager to get my hands on Crossroads (and I did!)
A Black Tie Affair by Sherrill Bodine-3 hearts
A light read, a few things I liked, a few things I didn’t but over all a fun afternoon read.
Dare to Surrender by Lilli Feisty-4.5 hearts
Another amazing erotic novel by the Feisty! This lady knows how to write a story that will draw you in from the beginning and hold you tight! Her heroes are hotties too!
Original Sin by Allison Brennan-4 hearts
Lots of suspense, good vs. evil. Not a lot of romance but I still really enjoyed this one.
Crossroads (Southern Arcana, Book 2) by Moira Rogers-5 hearts
I absolutely loved this book. No, I mean I loved it! The hero and heroine touched my heart. This one goes on my top picks for 2010. Review on the blog 2/4/2010
Dangerous Highlander (Dark Sword, #1) by Donna Grant-4 hearts
After Wendy from The Book Lush raved about this one I had to give it a go. I enjoyed! Thanks Wendy for the rec.
Broken by Shiloh Walker-5 hearts
I won an ARC from Ms. Walker and I can not tell you how excited I am about this book. I loved it! Another one for my top picks list. I’m going to read Fragile very soon. Review coming end of February.
I’ve got lots of books on the pile for February and I count myself quite fortunate that my tbr list seems never ending. I heart books.

Mandi–Wow go Jeanette, luck lady! I didn't realize she won over at smexy too! Yes, you do need to read a Dane. Laid Bare was really good but I struggled with the tragedy. I had to stop reading a couple of times. I loved the book though. Coming Undone rocked me. Brody is mine by the way. Time stamp!
