I feel like this year is going by way too fast. Anyone with me?
Carry the Ocean by Heidi Cullinan ** AMZ * BN * K
I adored this romance. Probably one of my favorites of the year so far. One of the heroes has autism and the other severe depression and clinical anxiety. I thought this author dealt with every single aspect of this romance in exactly the right way. It was an eye-opening read as far as how these character’s see and feel differently because of their disabilities. It is a journey that all readers should take. Absolutely beautiful.
Full review to come.
Crash & Burn by Abigail Roux ** AMZ * BN * K
I went into this one with a hell of a lot of anxiety, but was pleased with the way Ms. Roux finished off my favorite couple’s love story. Now I’m at the point where I wish I could go back and start over from scratch and experience all the ups and downs again. Farewell Ty and Zane.
Joint review with Jen (with spoiler tags just in case) here.
Ripped by Edie Harris ** AMZ * BN * K
I saw this one on Netgalley and my first thought was “OMG TOBIAS!!! Gimme, gimme, gimme!!” I heart Tobias. This is the second book in the Blood Money series and features the cool, always in control older brother of the heroine from the first book. In order to get what he wants out of the woman involved in his sister’s kidnapping, he must accompany her to her sister’s wedding and pose as her love interest. Oh, and he has almost no experience with women. Romance, sexy times and action packed goodness follows.
Review to come closer to release date.
Chaos Station by Jenn Burke and Kelly Jensen ** AMZ * BN * K
